This is an original 1913 halftone print of the Great Reading Room by Max Littmann. Littmann was a German architect who established himself as a free architect in 1885, after two study trips to Italy and Paris. He worked with his father-in-law at their contracting company, which transformed into the Heilmann & Littmann general partnership.
